Joanna Britton, Marketing Manager at CRAFT, talks new Brewmasters Dinner Series and community commitment.

Mediaplanet: How would you explain the CRAFT concept to someone who hasn’t been there before?

Joanna Britton: CRAFT Beer Market is a premium casual restaurant with a passion for fresh local food and great craft beer. Launched in Calgary in 2011, CRAFT brings sophisticated comfort food, unique craft beers, and active community involvement together to new cities every year.

MP: What is the Brewmasters Dinner Series?

JB: Each month we partner with a different brewery to create an evening of great food and beer. Patrons can enjoy a chef-crafted four-course dinner menu paired with our partner brewery’s offerings, with each course designed to cut or complement the brew.

MP: What does community mean to CRAFT?

JB: Like a good neighbour, we try to make positive contributions wherever possible. We have partnerships with several organizations including Ronald McDonald House, we support Eva’s Initiatives through the Mealshare program, and we’re actively raising funds through our Community Brew program that currently assists programming at Dixon Hall Music School. CRAFT stands for community, responsible, approachable, family, and true. These core values, and our motto Do the Right Thing, are what set us apart.
