If you’re seeking a brief escape from the pressures of modern life, you might want to visit Thermëa Spa Village in Whitby, Ont.

Experience-thermeaspa

Open 364 days a year and easily accessible from the 401 or 407 highways, the team at Thermëa knows that relaxation means different things to different people. For some, it’s a solo getaway to pause, breathe, and reflect. For others, it’s a social time to reconnect with their partner, family, or friends. And some people simply like different relaxation options at different times.

That’s why guests at Thermëa get to create their own unique adventure, choosing from a wide range of spa experiences each time they visit. It might be a quiet day during the week for some rest, solitude, and recovery on one stay and a weekend of socializing with friends over spa treatments, food, and wine the next. With so much flexibility and variety offered at one location, Thermëa is an ideal summer destination point.

A Variety of Wellness and Dining Options

There are plenty of wellness treatments to choose from, like the thermal cycle of saunas, cold plunges, and rest areas, a calming floatation session in the Källa underground haven, or a self-guided Rhassoul in an orange-scented steam room. Thermëa boasts one of the largest event saunas in North America — perfect if you’re coming with a group.

A variety of different massages are also available, as well as body care treatments such as aromatherapy foot care, Himalayan salt rubs, and facial care, all designed to make one feel good on the inside and glow on the outside.

Finally, guests can enjoy delectable cuisine, featuring fresh, local, farm-to-table ingredients at any of the spa’s three restaurants. Whether quick bites, cocktails, and snacks or a classic meal with fine wine, there’s something to suit a variety of dietary needs and preferences.

Choose your own adventure this summer at Thermëa Spa Village.
