Canadians long await these few warm summer months, what are some of your favourite ways to spend the summer? What are you most excited for?

There’s so many different things I’m excited for this summer. As a BC girl, I honestly love spending time at home in the summer. Vancouver is such a great place where you could walk around for hours and you can continuously see parts of nature. I also love travelling more locally like going up to the Okanagan or taking a ferry to Vancouver Island as well. I definitely will still be travelling though! I have an East Coast road trip in the works, so I can not wait to share more of that.

Many Canadians plan to travel domestically this summer. As a resident of British Columbia, what foodie hidden gems and must-do experiences would be on your recommendation list?

There’s so many beautiful places to see in BC! If you’re visiting BC and you have the time, try to make your way up to Okanagan, Whistler, or Vancouver Island (though you’ll want to have access to a car). All of these places are big “must-do” treks to complete your west coast trip! They’re all so unique from one another but it really shows more of what BC has to offer. As far as foodie experiences, there’s so many amazing wineries to visit in the Okanagan – so that’s a must. We have great access to seafood of course, so you have to keep your eyes out for that! Miku, Joe Fortes, Nightingale, Di Beppe, and Nelson the Seagull are some of my fave Vancouver spots. I would definitely try to visit one of those restaurants!

Yes! One of my most memorable trips ever was a road trip I took with my best friend from BC to Ontario. We were on the road for about 2 and a half weeks, and made so many amazing memories. Luckily, I was also able to visit some friends along the way too! It was a great way to see more of Canada! There were so many stops along the way that I would’ve never gotten to see it if I didn’t take my time driving through the provinces. Like I mentioned above, I’m headed for the east coast for a roadtrip this summer! I’m really looking forward to experiencing the maritimes for the first time!

As an influencer, how do you incorporate your summer experiences into your content? Do you have any tips for capturing and sharing memorable moments during the season?

I think there’s definitely a gentle balance between it all! One of the things I’ve learned this year was to be more present in moments and everything else will fall into place! That being said, I’m still going to get that content haha! One of the things I do (especially in a group setting) is to take a step back and observe for a moment. I love capturing candid moments, those are always the most beautiful. And for me personally, whenever I have a glass of wine in hand, of course I’m thinking about #Teamnospill! So that’s always a good excuse to have a quick dance moment!

What are you most looking forward to this summer? Do you have any upcoming projects or personal goals that you’d like to share with your audience?

I actually have so many things in the works right now! Of course I already mentioned my east coast trip. I’m also looking forward to spending more time with family and friends this summer (I have 5 weddings coming up)! There’s a couple of upcoming projects in the works, but it’s too early for me to spill anything. I will continue to update everyone on Instagram when the time comes! As far as personal goals, I’m really working hard on my content this year. I know that my community has been loving my travel content, so I’m going to book more trips for sure!
